Kalā Yoga is an inclusive, community-centered studio rooted in Williamsburg and Bushwick, offering practices that honor traditional yogic teachings while embracing modern influences. Led by teachers with decades of experience, our classes are thoughtfully designed to meet you exactly where students are. Expect a practice that’s both grounded and playful, often set to feel-good music that keeps things light, energizing, and connected.
As a former professional dancer, movement educator and yoga teacher of 14+ years, and current Doctorate of Physical Therapy student, Giulia has always been fascinated by the body in motion. Her background in dance and experiences in healing from several traumatic injuries led her to pursue rigorous and extensive studies in anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and biomechanics. Giulia has taught both nationally and internationally, and her work centers on delivering intelligent, evidence-informed movement education. She is a Senior Teacher and Head of Content at Threes Physiyoga Method online and teaches weekly yoga classes at Kula Yoga Project, Brooklyn.
