Join us for our fourth year of Típico P'al Pueblo, honoring Dominican community through a night of live music, dancing, singing, performances and food.
Hosted by Esteban Duran, two live bands, Berto Reyes, "El Duro Del Acordeon," and Kelvin Rodriguez, share the lively Dominican folk tradition of Típico music and engage in a back-and-forth dueling showcase.

Típico (also known as merengue cibaeño or colloquially as perico ripia'o) is a musical genre of the Dominican Republic, and the oldest style of merengue. Typical instruments that are used are the accordion, bass guitar, güira, conga, and tambora (drum).
