Salsa by the Water
In collaboration with Nieves Dance Studio, join us every other Wednesday night in Domino Square for live music, dancing and salsa lessons! Free salsa lessons start at 6:15 pm and live music and dancing begins at 7:15 pm.
Sunrise Yoga
Every Wednesday morning on the Flex Field, join us for a gentle and centering outdoor yoga session. With the sound of the East River in the background and the Manhattan skyline in view, this class offers a serene start to the day.
Evening Food Scrap Drop-off
Have extra food scraps? We'll take 'em! Bring them to the Park and we'll turn them into nutrient rich compost, which is used throughout Domino Park to keep plant life healthy. When possible, we also donate compost to local organizations to help care for trees in the Williamsburg neighborhood.
Compost 101
Curious about the compost program at the park? Meet Horticulture team member, Justis, to learn about the fundamentals of compost, how food scraps are transformed into nutrient-rich soil, and how we use compost throughout the park. Plus, you'll get a tour of the Rocket, the industrial machine that turns food scraps into compost.

Nothing to Watch Dance Performance
In Nothing to Watch, Maho Ogawa explores Zen philosophy through movement and choreography. Drawing from her research into meditation and embodied experience, Ogawa considers how bodies share space in outdoor environments while navigating both the inner experience and the world around them. The performance invites audiences to reflect on a different relationship to time, space, and attention - one that is open, non-hierarchical, and shared across bodies. Japanese tea will be provided by Haco NYC.
Cafe Susanne at the Kiosk
Looking for a coffee or baked good post yoga session or after popping by our Greenmarket? Cafe Susanne is popping up at the Kiosk every Sunday to offer up their wonderful selection right in Domino Square.
Greenmarket
The Domino Park Greenmarket, organized by GrowNYC, is a Sunday staple, featuring local farmers and producers offering a variety of fruits, vegetables, mushrooms, fresh cut flowers, plants, and more. Runs June 14 - November 22.
Play in the Square!
Twice monthly, bring the family for a fun-filled Sunday afternoon, featuring programming by local, talented children's performers and educators. Sunday mornings feature two events hosted by our partners, one at 12 pm, and one at 2pm. Stick around the whole slate of programming and head over to the Greenmarket (and the Fountain!) to make a whole day out of it.
